The captioned Symposium was held in Hong Kong Science Park on 31 May 2016. Dr David Chung, JP, Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology was invited to be the Guest-of-Honour of the Symposium. Prof Daniel M Cheng, Chairman of FHKI and Steve Chuang, Chairman of Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council (HKEIC) thanked all international speakers for their sharing at the Symposium. Albert Wong, the Chief Corporate Development Officer of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks was invited to give the keynote speech.

Over 220 participants attended the Symposium. 17 companies showcased their IoT and wireless technologies and products during the Symposium. Visits to Wireless Communications Test Lab, Arrow Open Lab and Smart Living@Science Park were arranged after the Symposium for electronics industry players to explore different IoT products and supports to the industry.
